You’ve read about palliative care and maybe even visited our Services page, but still wonder: What actually happens in a teleconsultation? Why should I book one? What will we even talk about?
Let’s walk you through it.
Think of It Like This:
You’re sitting at home with a loved one who’s been unwell. They’re not sleeping well, barely eating, and there’s a constant feeling of helplessness in the room. You’ve seen specialists, done tests, and yet… something feels missing. No one has addressed the daily suffering, the emotional toll, or how you’re coping.
This is exactly where a palliative care teleconsultation fits in.

What Happens During the Call?
Our first consultation lasts about 25–30 minutes and is entirely online. It’s just you, your loved one (if they’re able), and a trained palliative care doctor. (That’s Me!)
Here’s what we usually cover:
🩺 Symptoms:
Through simple, clear questions, we cover the symptoms that need addressing.
We don’t just note it—we listen and understand.
🧠 Mood & Mind:
Illness brings more than just physical pain. We gently explore the psychological and emotional aspect of the patient and caregivers.
🧓 Family, Finances, Support System:
Because care isn’t just about the patient. Sometimes the elephant in the room is the lack of resources, support and guidance.
💬 Questions You Didn’t Know You Could Ask
Whether it’s about what to expect in the illness, medications, feeding tubes, or “what now?”. Nothing is too small or silly.

“We’re still seeing the main doctor… is this needed?”
