Paricharya.Care

Because No Caregiver Should Walk Alone

I am Dr. Vanshika Gupta, a physician specializing in Nuclear Medicine, and Palliative Medicine — but long before I practised medicine, I was a caregiver.

My journey into palliative care wasn’t one I planned for.

It unfolded in the quiet moments of uncertainty, in the long nights spent caring for a loved one, and in the realization that even the most well-intentioned healthcare systems, often fall short in addressing the evolving needs of both patients and those caring for them.

Like many caregivers, I witnessed firsthand the emotional, physical, and logistical challenges of caring for a loved one with a serious illness. I realized how unprepared even the most trained professionals can feel in the face of real-life emotional and practical challenges of caregiving.

While medicine can treat symptoms, the true essence of care lies in the support, guidance, and compassion offered to both patients and their families. The need for community and resources every step of the way is crucial.

This realization shaped my life’s purpose—not just as a doctor, but as someone who believes in empowering caregivers with knowledge, clarity, and emotional strength.

That led to Paricharya.care—a space where caregivers and families can find the guidance, reassurance, resources, and quiet support they may not have even realized they needed. Because no one should have to navigate caregiving alone.
